Subsequently, for over 25 years, the trainer has been self-employed as a writer and lecturer. He has had more than 40 books published, including the best-selling Payroll Factbook. He writes for national newspapers and specialist magazines. He runs training courses for major accounting firms, public companies, professional bodies and, on several occasions, HMRC. His subjects are tax, payroll and accounting for leading professional bodies and companies. He is also an adviser to a national newspaper on tax-related stories, and has been on major radio stations and television news.
