Job Description

Redcliffe Training Associates is an industry leading provider of specialist finance training. It has over 20 years’ experience delivering world class courses to a blue-chip client.

The company is now adding to its team as part of its next phase of growth and is looking for an Email Marketing Assistant who will assist the Head of Email Marketing.

The successful candidate must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ideally have experience in template design, CRMs, and ESPs. A degree or work experience in marketing is preferred.

The successful candidate must be able to think for themselves, and have the ability to remain organised in a fast-paced environment. They must work well in a team, and be flexible to the requirements of the business.

The successful candidate must be forward-thinking and be able to take the initiative by sharing updates proactively, as well as monitoring reports and raising issues in good time.

The successful candidate must have experience in collating, and presenting data. They should be able to summarise data in order to “get to the point”, rather than presenting numerous spreadsheets.

Duties:

  • Creating templates for manual campaigns, transactional emails, and workflows
  • Conducting competitor and demographic research
  • Assisting with manual campaign set up in bespoke software packages
    • Suggesting and scheduling emails where there are gaps in the schedule
  • Assisting with the testing of new aliases/domains
  • Assisting with the regular email marketing schedule when cover is needed
  • Collating reports produced by other team members and combining and maintaining these in a master document to present when requested to by the Head of Email Marketing
  • Assisting with daily and weekly campaign checks
  • Pulling reports in CRM for the wider team to utilise
  • Campaign Reporting
    • Reporting on campaign effectiveness, returns and performance
    • Reporting per segment (marketing code)
    • Highlighting periods of low or high engagement
    • Reporting on e-marketing attributable bookings by email type, date, and course date
  • Data accuracy
    • Ensuring that all data hosted by our Mail Provider and CRM is accurate and up to date
  • Assisting with the monitoring of workflow journeys

    • You will be expected to take detailed notes to aid you after the induction training

  • Must have experience creating and pulling complex reports from multiple sources
  • Must be looking to pursue a career in marketing
