Our Treasury Management training course expert is an investment specialist with over 30 years of experience in the institutional fund management and investment banking sectors.

In 2010 the trainer founded Frontier-Invest Ltd; a company providing consultancy and transaction advisory services to other companies, particularly concerning the raising and structuring of private equity and venture capital in international markets.

Starting his investment career with Ivory & Sime, our treasury training specialist managed equity portfolios for institutional clients. He subsequently joined Cazenove Fund Management where he ran Global Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific funds. In 2007 he was recruited to a specialist firm that ultimately became UBA Capital, the Investment Banking subsidiary of one of Africa’s largest banks, where he acted as Global Head of Research.

Our trainer has a deep understanding of portfolio construction and management through the investment cycle. Having worked through numerous business and economic cycles, and a variety of developed and emerging market crises, our expert has learnt invaluable investment lessons in difficult environments and good times.

In addition to a wealth of practical experience, our treasury management course leader holds a Master’s degree from Edinburgh University and accountancy and economics certificates from the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He is fluent in several languages and has provided training courses in English and French to clients across Europe, Africa and Asia.

Redcliffe’s Treasury Management training course is designed to provide an introduction and overview of the relevant functions and instruments. Sessions suit participants new to the topic alongside those with experience in a specific area but lacking an overall view of the subject. The focus is on ensuring you have a complete practical understanding of core concepts which can form the basis for further advanced, in-depth technical studies.

This treasury management course looks at the subject from a banking perspective but is equally applicable to individuals working in a corporate treasury environment.

Sessions use class exercises, case studies and discussion to bring to life what can be a very theoretical subject.

  • At Redcliffe Training our treasury management course is presented by a long-standing investment specialist with practical finance sector experience.
  • The course provides a clear, comprehensible and practical overview of a complex, technical and detailed topic.
  • It is designed to make you think about and understand the “why" rather than just the “how” of this essential subject.

Treasury management training at Redcliffe is designed for individuals who would benefit from a broad understanding of the processes and functioning of the main associated investment products.

If you have recently joined or are looking to join a banking institution or a corporate treasury department, this course is perfect for you. It is also ideal for more established employees who would benefit from a better understanding of the whole treasury process.

Two-day training on treasury management covers the basics of treasury management, including the term structure of interest rates, asset & liability management and risk. Day two focuses on the functions of the most important financial instruments – money markets and fixed income, derivatives and options.
