Redcliffe’s Treasury Management trainer is an investment specialist with over 30 years’ experience in the institutional fund management and investment banking sectors.

In 2010 he founded Frontier-Invest Ltd. Frontier-Invest provides consulting and transaction advisory services to companies, particularly in relation to raising and structuring PE and VC capital in international markets.

The trainer started his investment career with Ivory & Sime, where he managed equity portfolios for institutional clients. He subsequently joined Cazenove Fund Management where he ran Global Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific funds.

In 2007 he was recruited to a specialist firm that ultimately became UBA Capital, the Investment Banking subsidiary of one of Africa’s largest banks, where he acted as Global Head of Research.

The trainer has a deep understanding of portfolio construction and management through the investment cycle. Having worked through numerous business and economic cycles, and a variety of developed and emerging market crises, he has learnt invaluable investment lessons in difficult environments as well as in good times.

He also has a Master’s degree from Edinburgh University and accountancy and economics certificates from the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He is fluent in several languages and has provided training courses in both English and French to clients across Europe, Africa and Asia.

This course is designed to provide an introduction to and an overview of treasury management functions and instruments to participants who are new to the topic or who may be experienced in a specific area but lacking in an overall view of the subject. The focus is on ensuring that participants have a full practical understanding of the core concepts which can form the basis for further advanced, in-depth technical studies.

The course looks at the subject from a banking perspective but is equally applicable to individuals working in a corporate treasury environment,
