Exercise: You & Your KASH – what now?

With a steadfast 40-year background dedicated to the UK banking and financial services sector, our personal effectiveness course leader experienced a highly successful career with Lloyds Bank. By an early age, he was in senior management, later headhunted by a merchant bank to join at the main board director level.

Working as a freelance soft skills training consultant since retirement, Redcliffe’s trainer is proud to be an external Master Trainer at HSBC and Bank of China. Delivering various soft skill-related sessions, he has helped screen and assess prospective and existing trainers for their capabilities and requirements moving forward.

Our productivity course specialist has delivered ‘train the trainer’ programs in addition to those already mentioned. Specifically for the Bank of China he has designed, created and delivered a highly successful and comprehensive personal effectiveness course.

Working with small firms and partnerships to huge global companies, our trainer delivers knowledgeable sessions through dedicated industry experience.

Personal effectiveness training at Redcliffe is suitable for professionals working in financial services and any industry where high levels of personal effectiveness are required.

Upon course completion, participants will be confident and knowledgeable to:
  • Describe time use in terms of Knowledge, Attitude, Skills and Habits (KASH)
  • Define principles of effective decision-making in deciphering what is important and urgent
  • Consider how mental well-being influences personal effectiveness at work
  • Demonstrate the fallacy of multitasking and develop task focus
  • Practice developing personal effectiveness habits

If there’s a specific aspect you would like to cover during this session that isn’t in our personal effectiveness training outline please speak with us to discuss bespoke options.

  • Personal effectiveness training considers personal productivity methods and customisation tools for effective working use.
  • Sessions combine the application of basic techniques with more advanced skills to further develop financial ability.
  • Our course allows participants to consider personal effectiveness improvements in everyday situations.
  • Redcliffe Training works with time-served, industry professionals with lengthy, dedicated careers.

Given this is such a crucial skill, everyone will benefit from our personal effectiveness course. Specifically, training is a must-know for:
  • Management, team leaders & oversight roles
  • Individuals required to work as a team or upon initiative to ‘get things done’ effectively
  • Individuals in a leadership or team role no matter how junior
  • Senior, middle and line managers who need to ‘make things happen’
  • Personnel staff
  • Any professionals looking to refresh or enhance existing skills with a professional productivity course

Personal effectiveness training allows participants to take some dedicated time out and focus on themselves. “I don’t have the time”, is an excuse used by many and whilst usually true, allocating space for progression brings results in abundance. With a little effort, this course encourages the skills you already have whilst providing additional techniques on top. Across just half a day (3 hours - including a break), delegates are shown the main, focus principles for improving personal productivity activities.

Participants investigate the management of mental capacity whilst examining certain misconceptions of time. We’ll consider how to handle distractions and interruptions guilt-free and with ease. This personal productivity training course teaches stress-reducing methods to the approach of an ever-increasing task list. We will also discuss the best responses when you genuinely ‘don’t have the time’!

You will never have 25 hours in a day. You can however continue improving personal productivity and output to manage your days effectively.
